When you or your customers purchase something from us, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. SECTION 4 - HOSTING
Our store is 'hosted', which provides us with an online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored in databases and the general hosting application. Data is stored on a secure server behind a firewall.
Payment: When you take an annual membership or purchase sales aids in addition to those provided in your initial 'starter pack' we will need to collect payment from you. At our discretion we may issue you with an invoice, to be paid by BACS transfer or some similar method, or we may take payment over the phone. When your customers order frames in your presence we will take full payment in advance prior to delivery of the order.Your customers may also order remotely by logging into 'events' that you create, designing products using your images and then paying for them using a direct payment gateway. In this situation, we will take payment in full before commencing production.
If you or your customers choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then the payment gateway stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
If we take payment over the phone, your full credit card details will never be stored. We will keep a 'merchant copy' of the credit card receipt, which will be kept under lock and key and never publically accessible. It will also not contain your personal data or the 3-digit security code from the back of the card.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
